This policy covers cryptocasinohub.com and explains what happens to information about you when you use this site. It is written to be read, not to be survived. Where a section matters more than it looks – affiliate tracking, in particular – it says so.
The Short Version
- We do not ask you to register, and you can read every page without giving us anything.
- We use analytics to see which pages get read and where readers come from.
- When you click through to a casino, a tracking parameter tells the operator that the click came from us. It does not tell us who you are, and we never see your casino account, your balance, your deposits, your play or your verification documents.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising networks that profile you across other sites.
- You can ask us what we hold and ask us to delete it – see Your Rights.
What We Collect
Information you give us
Only where you choose to:
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and message | You write to us, report a correction or submit a complaint about an operator | To answer, and to keep a record of operator complaint patterns |
| Email address | You subscribe to updates, if a subscription form is live | To send what you subscribed to, until you unsubscribe |
| Name or handle, comment text | You post a comment or a user rating, where enabled | To publish it beside the page it relates to |
We do not ask for your date of birth, address, ID documents, wallet addresses or payment details, and you should not send them to us. If you email us documents unprompted, we delete them.
Information collected automatically
Standard web and analytics data: IP address, approximate location derived from it (usually city or region level), browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, and clicks on outbound links. This is used in aggregate to understand what to write next and what is broken.
Information we do not collect
Worth stating plainly, because this is a gambling site and the assumption runs the other way:
- No casino account data – username, balance, deposits, withdrawals, wagering progress, session history. None of it reaches us.
- No KYC or identity documents.
- No wallet addresses, private keys, seed phrases or transaction data. Nobody legitimate will ever ask you for a seed phrase, including us.
- No payment card or bank details. We take no payments from readers.
Affiliate Tracking – What It Actually Does
This is the part most privacy policies in this niche skip. When you click a “Visit casino” link, a tracking identifier travels with the click, either in the URL or in a cookie set by the affiliate platform. Its job is to let the operator attribute a new account to us so a commission is paid. See our Affiliate Disclaimer for the commercial side of that.
What we receive back from operators and affiliate networks is aggregated performance reporting: numbers of clicks, registrations and depositing players per brand and per period. In some networks, an individual registration appears as a random reference number with a date. We cannot connect that to a name, an email address or a person, and we do not attempt to.
What the operator holds about you once you register is governed by that operator’s privacy policy, not this one. From the moment you land on their site you are their user, on their terms, under their licence and their jurisdiction. Read their policy before depositing – it is the one that decides what happens to your identity documents.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies used on this site fall into three groups:
- Strictly necessary – security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Analytics – to count visits and understand navigation. Where consent is required in your region, these load only after you accept.
- Affiliate tracking – set at the moment you click an outbound operator link, typically by the affiliate platform or the operator, and read on their side rather than ours. Lifetimes are set by those platforms and commonly run from 30 days to a year.
You can clear cookies or block them in your browser at any time. Blocking affiliate cookies does not change anything about your account at a casino; it only affects whether the referral is attributed to us.
Legal Bases (UK/EU readers)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies:
- Consent – analytics and non-essential cookies, newsletter emails. Withdrawable at any time.
- Legitimate interests – keeping the site secure, preventing abuse, understanding aggregate traffic, and maintaining records of operator complaints so that ratings reflect reality. We balance this against your interests and use the least identifying data that answers the question.
- Legal obligation – where we must retain something to comply with law.
Sharing
We share personal data with:
- Service providers who run parts of the site under contract – hosting, email delivery, analytics, anti-spam – and only for those purposes.
- Affiliate networks and operators, in the limited click-attribution sense described above.
- Authorities, where a valid legal obligation requires it.
We do not sell personal data, do not share it with data brokers, and do not participate in advertising exchanges that build cross-site profiles of you. If that ever changes, this page changes first and the change is dated.
International Transfers
The site’s providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, transfers rely on the appropriate safeguards – adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses – depending on the provider.
Retention
- Analytics: retained in aggregate; identifiers are retained for period and then deleted or anonymised.
- Correspondence: kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can recognise repeated problems at the same operator, then deleted.
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
- Comments: until you ask for removal, or the page is retired.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- confirm what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything inaccurate
- delete it
- restrict or object to processing, including profiling
- receive it in a portable format
- withdraw consent, without affecting what was lawful before
Readers in California and other US states with comparable laws have equivalent rights, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” – neither of which we do.
Write to. We answer within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority – in the UK, the ICO; in the EU, your national supervisory authority.
Age
This site is for adults of legal gambling age in their jurisdiction, at least 18 everywhere and 21 in some places. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it. Parents concerned about access to gambling content will find filtering options on our responsible gambling page.
Security
We use HTTPS, keep the platform patched, and limit access to correspondence to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and the honest mitigation is that we hold very little: there is no account database here, no payment data and no identity documents to lose.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes and material changes are summarised at the top of the page for a period afterwards. Continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies.
